The basis of the preparation is a complex of acrylate copolymer / glycerol; this provides controlled adsorption of excess sebum and the gradual release of glycerin to soften and moisturize the skin.

Pharmacokinetics
Most of the benzoyl peroxide is biotransformed into benzoic acid (95%) in human skin; unchanged benzoic acid is rapidly excreted in the urine. There is no data on cumulation in tissues. The drug has no systemic effect.

Baziron AC is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate acne with predominance of pustular elements as monotherapy, and in acne of moderate severity, also in combination with other local (retinoids) and systemic (antibiotics, anti-androgen for oral administration).
