Metamizole sodium is an analgesic-antipyretic, a derivative of pyrazolone. Has a pronounced analgesic, antipyretic and weak anti-inflammatory effect, the mechanism of which is associated with the inhibition of the synthesis of prostaglandins.
Pitofenone hydrochloride - myotropic antispasmodic, has a direct effect on the smooth muscles of the internal organs and causes its relaxation (papaverin-like action).
Fenpiverinia bromide, being an m-holinoblokatorom, has an additional relaxing effect on smooth muscles.
Composition
Metamizol sodium + Pitophenone (in the form of hydrochloride) + Fenpiperinium bromide + auxiliary substances.
Pharmacokinetics
After intramuscular injection, the active substances of the preparation are rapidly and largely absorbed from the injection site. Binding to plasma proteins is 50-60%. When taken in therapeutic doses, it is excreted in breast milk. It is excreted mainly by the kidneys.

With the simultaneous use of sedatives and anxiolytics (tranquilizers) enhance the analgesic effect of Spasmalgon.
With simultaneous use of thiamazole and cytotoxic drugs increase the risk of developing leukopenia.
With the simultaneous use of the action of the drug strengthen codeine, histamine H2 receptor blockers and Propranolol (slow inactivation).
