Acupan Biocodex an analgesic of central action. The mechanism of action, apparently, is related to the effect on the dopamine, norepinephrine and serotonin receptors in the central nervous system (CNS). It has some M-cholinolytic and sympathomimetic activity. The chemical structure and properties of nefopam (the active substance of the drug Akupan Biocodex) do not allow attributing it to either opioid analgesics or to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Does not have anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects. Does not affect the blood coagulation system and does not cause irritation of the gastric mucosa.

Surgeon's doctor's opinion

The drug Akupan Biokodeks is a good powerful anesthetic. In his department, we assign him to the patient for several days after surgery to relieve postoperative pain. We administer the drug intramuscularly on average 2-4 times a day, depending on the severity of the pain syndrome. Since we use Akupan Biocode in short courses, in my practice there was not a single case of addiction or the formation of drug dependence, which may be accompanied by withdrawal syndrome. The patients carry the drug well, sometimes complain of nausea, dry mouth, drowsiness. After the pain medication is stopped, all these symptoms disappear.
