Composition of the preparation.

Dermatrix - helps maintain a uniform skin hydration, improving the appearance of scars. It has the ability to smooth and soften the protruding scars, to relieve the associated itching and discomfort, and to reduce the scarring of the pigmentation of the skin that is observed during the formation of scars.

Dermatix gel is easily applied to all skin areas, including face, joints and folds, quickly dries and forms an invisible film.

Dermatix has a softening and keloidolytic effect on the affected areas. This is the first line of therapy created for patients with scars. So, silicone is recommended by international experts to influence scar tissue. The use of Dermatrix is currently the only non-invasive method in the prevention and treatment of keloid and hypertrophic scars. The drug confirmed its pharmacological effect from the point of view of evidence-based medicine. This silicone gel is designed for the convenience of people suffering from the presence of scars and scars, approved by the FDA as a drug, equivalent to the use of silicone coatings. Dermatix gel is based on an inert silicone. What is especially important is that it acts on a superficial level, without having a systemic effect on the patient's body. This makes possible the use of funds from a wide contingent of people. Dermatix can be used even in severe diseases, in which the use of many dermatological preparations is contraindicated, and this dignity has made it very popular.

Dermatix silicone gel is able to maintain a natural balance of skin moisture, greatly improving the appearance of scars. It smooths and softens the protruding scars, relieves itching, eliminates discomfort. Often when the scars are formed, a pigmentation disorder occurs - the dermatrix also reduces these manifestations. It is easy to apply to all parts of the body, including the face, joints and folds. Forming an invisible film, the gel dries very quickly.

As a rule, with damage to the epidermis, scarring does not occur. But with a trauma to the dermis or subcutaneous layer, the likelihood that there will be a noticeable scar is significantly increased. The nature of the scar is determined by a number of factors, and the most important of these is the nature of the lesion, as well as localization. Also on the formation of the scar affect the genetic characteristics. With the help of Dermatrix, a good occlusion of the rumen is carried out, and the level of hydration of the horny layer of the skin is significantly increased. Occlusion leads to the fact that collagen fibers tend to reorient parallel to the epidermis plane. This is the main mechanism that allows to achieve leveling scars.

Very good gel. After almost 2 months I saw dramatic changes in the scar - it became a little smaller in size and very brightened. After another couple of months, it became white and equaled to the skin, ie it ceased to be convex.

Is it possible to seal the seam with a film after applying the dermatix gel?

DmitriyIf you indicated for what purpose you want to do this, then perhaps I would answer positively. If you do not need to enhance the effect of the drug, it will not add any effect.

I used a gel for make-up (a scar on my forehead). Very comfortably. You smear, you wait 15 minutes, when the gel will dry up and put the powder on top. Also it is treated and it is not visible.

I began to use this tool only. Only a month passed. The doctor has appointed or nominated from a scar which was formed after removal on a neck of the huge rodinka. Says you need at least 2 months to use. So I'm still ahead. While I can say one thing - the scar stopped burning and itching. And the gel is applied easily and does not stick. The effect itself will look a little later.

I used a plate, cleaned the scar after cesarean. It took almost four months to wear, but it was worth it - the scar became completely invisible.
Hello. I have 3b degree burns on the face, chest, neck, etc. There was a transfer. How to determine where to apply the gel better, and where the bandage? Thank you.

Inna Togliatti, This question is addressed to your surgeon. Because scars from burns 3b degree, plus transplantation - this is serious, and you have not indicated the timing of recovery, nor the nature and area of the lesion. And in general, this need to watch live. Can to you in general while Dermatix is not shown. And since the bandage or Dermatrix patch is usually applied to small lesions (it is not necessary to seal a single large lesion with several patches), in other cases, use a gel.

Hello. Tell me, please, how much time can you use one plate (a week, two, three, etc.)? If it is washed every day and dried as described in the instructions. I have a seam on my neck after an operation on the thyroid gland. Almost 5 months passed after the operation. Will the plate help or better use the gel? Thank you.

Olga, You can use a dermatitis bandage or a silicone plate on a tissue basis or transparent daily for 3 months. Use better on small scars or scars, so if a large incision I would recommend using a gel. The silicone plate (bandage) should be on the rumen for 12-23 hours a day, once a day, the scar area and dressing are washed with soap and water, then the dressing is air dried and applied repeatedly (one piece of the transparent bandage is used up to 5 weeks, and bandages on a tissue basis - up to 6 weeks). A transparent bandage of silicone is not visible on the skin, the bandage on the tissue base will be visible.

The gel is transparent, invisible on the skin. It should be applied morning and evening to dry and clean skin, evenly distributed and allowed to dry for 4-5 minutes. The gel does not require rubbing and application of pressure bandages. The course of treatment is 2-3 months.

Hello! The child has a scar under the lower lip of 2 cm, still dense and red. A month passed after the wound. Tell me, please, what is better to use a gel or bandage "Dermatics"?
Administrators
admin
89514725967, In children, you can use both a gel and a bandage in the form of a dermatitis patch. A dense scar is normal, but red ... I would have consulted a surgeon first, especially if the scar is additionally itch or sore. This can serve as an indication of not completely healing healing of the skin. If the child's age is small, then he can wash the gel with a pen and swallow, and the bandage can be torn off, it will be necessary to track which of these forms is more suitable for use in your child.

Tell me, please, what is the difference between Dermatix gel and Ultra Dermatix gel?
Administrators
admin
IrinaThe difference is that the gel Dermatix Ultra is additionally enriched with vitamin C ether. It is believed that this component allows the skin to return its natural color after healing of the scar tissue. So it or not, in fact, I can not say, I did not use a similar drug in my patients.

a guestIt is doubtful that in your situation, Dermatix will help. Address to the surgeon, because the scar is large, and even painful, as if there were no complications. Perhaps the healing process has not yet passed.

Hello. The child was bitten by a dog a month ago.We were prescribed a 5% solution of potassium permanganate for 7 days and then a gel dermatrix. From the bite came 3 scar, 1 of which is deep, as if a small pit. Another advised to cover the night and close the film. Does this make sense? And can the gel even out a deep scar "hole"? Thank you in advance.

89222617382, A scar with the effect of minus tissue (fossa, depression) gel Dermatix probably will not fix how this defect can not be corrected by any of the known dermatotropic agents of such action. If the scar rises above the surface of the skin, that is, with the effect of plus-tissue, then the use of this remedy can be considered justified and a small scar can be smoothed out. And instead of hiding the place where the gel is applied, you can use a silicone bandage Dermatix specially designed for this purpose.

I use Dermatrix basically for healing of scars after burns. Both for themselves and for children. Burns and wounds are a variety of us - a frequent problem, so this gel is always in the home medicine chest. It turns out to be used sparingly, since it is not necessary to apply a lot of gel to the wound. Experience of use - for several years. Are satisfied.

Good afternoon. I have a large convex scar on my leg after the operation. Fracture, cut twice more. There's even a few scars, actually, not one. Tell me, Dermatix can help me at least a little to smooth it? It looks absolutely ugly. If so, in what form would you recommend using the drug?
Administrators

Rusik, It is difficult to get rid of large scars with such drugs, there may be some improvement in the appearance of scar tissue (it will become smaller and thinner), in cases of serious damage, cosmetic operations are performed. You can use any suitable form in your use, in my opinion, it will be more convenient for Dermatix to use a special bandage than the gel.
