Composition of an anesthetic and anti-inflammatory drug.

Fanigan - is a combined drug, it includes Diclofenac and paracetamol, which cause a pronounced anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effect. The action of diclofenac is based on the inhibition of the enzyme for the synthesis of prostaglandins of cyclooxygenase, which provides analgesic and antipyretic effect. At the used dose, it does not inhibit the synthesis of proteoglycans of the cartilaginous tissue. The analgesic and antipyretic effect of Paracetamol is due to its effect on the hypothalamus, in particular on the pain center and the center of thermoregulation of the brain. In rheumatic diseases, Fanigan reduces pain in the joints, morning stiffness and swelling due to anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. In the postoperative and post-traumatic periods, he anesthetizes, reduces the swelling of the postoperative wound. Fanigan is good at pain syndrome associated with primary dysmenorrhea and migraine attacks.

Composition

Paracetamol + Diclofenac sodium + excipients (tablets).

Diclofenac diethylamine + Menthol + Methylsalicylate + auxiliary substances (Fast gel).

Pharmacokinetics

After oral administration of Fanigan, the constituent components are rapidly absorbed. The intake of food does not affect the absorption of the drug. The concentration of active substance in the blood plasma is directly proportional to the dose of the drug, the maximum level comes in one - an hour and a half after administration. Diclofenac almost 100% binds to blood plasma proteins, it also enters the synovial fluid, where its maximum concentration comes 120-240 minutes later than in the blood serum. Excretion of diclofenac occurs with urine (60%), and the rest - with bile and calves. Metabolism of paracetamol occurs in the liver, from the body it is excreted almost completely with urine.

special instructions

In the case of appointing Fanigan, patients with gastric and intestinal pathology, as well as a history of peptic ulcer disease, patients with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis need careful medical supervision. When taking Fanigan, an increase in the activity of liver enzymes is possible, so in the case of prolonged treatment, continuous monitoring of liver function is indicated. If the activity of liver enzymes increases or there are other symptoms indicative of liver disease, then the drug must be canceled. Fanigan can also cause attacks of hepatic porphyria, so such patients are appointed with caution.

In providing normal renal blood flow, an important role belongs to prostaglandins, so patients with kidney or heart disease, elderly patients, patients who take diuretics, and those who can be suspected of a significant decrease in BCC (eg, postoperative patients) are especially cautious. Abolition of the drug leads to the normalization of kidney function.

Fanigan may also inhibit platelet aggregation during the treatment period, so continuous monitoring of the hemostatic system is necessary during the administration of the drug.

In patients in old age, weakened, and also having a small weight, Fanigan should be prescribed in the minimum effective dose.

Fanigan, due to its properties, can mask the symptoms of infectious diseases.

Patients whose activities require increased attention should be aware of the possibility of dizziness and caution.

Drug Interactions

Fanigan increases the content of lithium and Digoxin in the blood serum. It reduces the activity of diuretics, so you should constantly monitor the level of potassium blood while prescribing it with potassium-sparing diuretics.

The appointment of Fanigan and NSAIDs simultaneously increases the likelihood of side effects, and constant monitoring of the peripheral blood picture is also necessary.

With the simultaneous appointment of Fanigan and anticoagulants, the risk of bleeding increases, so regular monitoring of blood clotting is necessary.

Fanigan increases the concentration of Methotrexate in the blood plasma. It also increases the nephrotoxic effect of cyclosporine.
