The Prosecutor General's Office pointed to the Ministry of Health's imperfection of providing certain categories of citizens with medicinal products

The Prosecutor General's Office sent instructions to the government of the Russian Federation regarding the elimination of violations found during the audit of the implementation of legislation on the implementation of citizens' provision with vital and essential medicines (VED).

It turned out that these same citizens have long been throwing the prosecutor's office and officials complaints and complaints that this list since 2011 has not been updated. It is clear that over 2 years it could include more effective drugs, for example for treatment oncological and other serious diseases, the treatment of which at one's own expense sometimes involves huge monetary costs.

The reason for the fact that the list of VEDs was not updated for a long time is banal - the Ministry of Health does not have the authority to adopt a new list of medicines (and the Russian government established this by its own decree of 2012,not specifying the truth, who will be reviewing this list, probably because of saving money for medicines) and such an ostrich position that the main medical department simply relieved itself of the responsibility for full and competent provision of certain categories of citizens with quality medications.

And if it takes 5-10 years, till now we will treat people with antediluvian and antiquated medicines so that the whole Planet will laugh? So the instruction of the Prosecutor General's Office to the position of the chief medical officials is absolutely correct. It would now be the will to do what it says.
