Composition of the preparation.
Bobotik - a drug that reduces flatulence. Simethicone (activated dimethicone - the active substance of the drug Bobotik) is a combination of methylated linear siloxane polymers stabilized with trimethylsiloxyl groups from silicon dioxide. Reducing the surface tension at the interface, complicates the formation and contributes to the destruction of gas bubbles in the contents of the intestine and mucus of the gastrointestinal tract. The gases released in this way can be absorbed by the walls of the intestine or removed by peristalsis. This prevents the formation of large gas-mucous conglomerates, causing a painful swelling of the abdomen.
When sonogram and radiography prevents the occurrence of image defects; promotes better irrigation of the mucous membrane of the colon with contrast agents, preventing the rupture of the contrast film.
Due to chemical inertness does not affect the microorganisms and enzymes present in the gastrointestinal tract. Does not reduce the absorption of food, does not change the reaction and the volume of gastric juice.
