The shortage of personnel in the pharmaceutical industry in Russia

At present, a serious shortage of specialists in the pharmaceutical industry is observed and will continue to be observed in Russia. There are many reasons for this, but this article is news, it's better to talk about the shortage in the education sector, which leads to the final problems.

Now universities are only training specialists in retail sales of medicines and medical supplies, but at the same time, research personnel for the pharmaceutical industry are undeservedly forgotten. Also, experts who not only know the pharmaceutics, but also accompanying jurisprudence, are not trained, that is, they can take competent and knowingly participation in the preparation of legislative initiatives and instructions for the government of the industry.

If we take as an example the Europeans, then they have a competent process of preparing such a plan of specialists, but unfortunately, in Russia, unfortunately. What prevents to take the valuable experience of the same Germany or Austria in the study and internship of such specialists on an ongoing basis is not clear.

It turns out that all the education is now reduced to the training of sellers (which is also important, since the market for such specialists is huge and the specialists do not have enough), but other staff for the pharmaceutical industry are not prepared, which is sad. And the state does not set such tasks before the educational process, which can lead to a staff pit with the retirement of old cadres and a lack of fresh minds in pharmaceutical production.

Even annual pharmaceutical olympiads, where gaps in education are indicated, are not saved, data on the elimination of these gaps in education are being analyzed and prepared, but this is so little for such a large country as ours.
