Instructions for use and dosage
With ascariasis, take 2 consecutive days 2 times a day for 1 hour before or 0.5-1 hours after meals in the following doses:
Adults - a single dose of 1.5-2 g.
Children:
- 13-15 years - a single dose of 1.5 g;
- 9-12 years - a single dose of 1 g;
- 6-8 years - a single dose of 750 mg;
- 4-5 years - single dose of 500 mg;
- 2-3 years - single dose of 300 mg;
- up to 1 year - a single dose of 200 mg.
It is also possible to use for one day: once from 400 mg to 4 g (depending on the age) or 2 times from 200 mg to 2 g.
When enterobiosis is used in the same doses for 5 consecutive days, 1-3 treatment cycles are performed with a 7-day break. In breaks between cycles it is recommended to prescribe an enema for the night (to remove pinworm from the rectum): adults - from 4-5 glasses of water, children - from 1-3 glasses of water (with the addition of sodium bicarbonate 1/2 teaspoon per glass of water) .
