Hello! Today I accidentally found out that when treating Truksalom (chlorprotrix) it is absolutely impossible to sunbathe and stay in the sun for a long time. There is no side effect in the instructions. I would be very grateful if you clarify this important question for me. Thank you in advance for your response.

Tasia, Since the publication of the drug Chlorprothixen in the Handbook, the instruction has been supplemented by the manufacturer with new side effects and including the added points that this drug can cause photosensitivity and lead to photodermatitis. So it's really impossible to sunbathe while taking Chlorprothixen. Added updated side effects to the instruction.

She took chlorprotixen as prescribed by the doctor. I had a feeling of fear, obsessive negative thoughts, anxiety. Appealed to a psychiatrist, he prescribed this drug.Chlorprotixen can be taken for a long time, there is no drug dependence on it. I believe (according to my health) that the drug has a positive effect. Now we have appointed a second course.
