Escuzane - a drug used for violations of venous circulation. Contains extract of horse chestnut fruit, has an antiexudative, venotonic effect. Composition

Pharmacokinetics
The binding with plasma proteins is 84%. After oral intake of 0.11% of the extract of horse chestnut fruit is excreted by the kidneys in the form of escin.
Indications
Chronic venous insufficiency of varicose and postthrombotic genesis, postthrombophlebitic syndrome and its complications, incl.diseases associated with functional impairment of blood supply:
- edema, cramps in the calf muscles;
- pain and a feeling of heaviness in the legs;
- phlebeurysm;
- hemorrhoids.
Post-traumatic or postoperative edema of soft tissues.
Forms of release
The tablets covered with a cover (sometimes mistakenly name dragees).
Solution for oral administration (sometimes mistakenly referred to as droplets).
There are no other dosage forms, be it ointment or gel.
Instructions for use and reception scheme
Solution
Assign inside of 12-15 drops 3 times a day.
The drug should be taken before eating with a small amount of liquid.
Before taking the drug, the contents of the vial should be shaken.
Pills

With simultaneous use, cephalosporins displace escin from bonds with plasma proteins.
