Tiotriazolin antioxidant drug. The pharmacological effect is due to anti-ischemic, antioxidant, membrane-stabilizing and immunomodulating properties. Prevents the death of hepatocytes, reduces the degree of their fatty infiltration and the spread of centrolobular liver necrosis, promotes the regeneration of hepatocytes, normalizes protein, carbohydrate, lipid and pigment exchanges. Increases the amount of synthesis and excretion of bile, normalizes its chemical composition.

Tiotriazolin enhances the compensatory activation of anaerobic glycolysis, reduces the inhibition of oxidation in the Krebs cycle, while maintaining the intracellular ATP. The drug activates the antioxidant system and inhibits the oxidation of lipids in the ischemic areas. Improves rheological properties of blood (activates the fibrinolytic system).

Why is it assigned to the cores?

Light ABecause Tiotriazolin improves metabolism and inhibits harmful processes in the ischemic areas of the heart muscle. So as an additional component in the complex therapy of IHD and other cardiac problems, this antioxidant can be used.

Anna Vasilyeva-ClassmatesTypically, patients have 1-2 courses of Tiotriazoline per year. In any case, the amount and duration of therapy is determined by the attending physician.
Good evening. Tell me, please, whether the relationship of tiotriazolin with activity of brain activity or vessels of the brain, with a prophylaxis prescribed by a cardiologist (10 injections of thiocetam and a course of thiotriazoline 200 mg 2 times 2 times a day), with treatment for bradycardia (low blood pressure)? The bicycle (veloergometer) is normal ...
In this description of vascular problems associated with brain activity, I have not read, and the explanations of the doctor and those familiar with the "practice" pointed to this indication. Thank you for attention. Igor Mikhailovich

Igor Mikhailovich, Tiotriazoline - an antioxidant drug. One of these mechanisms of influence on the human body is prescribed anti-ischemic and membrane-stabilizing effects. I can assume, like your cardiologist, that there will be some positive effects on the brain cells, but of course, I do not advise treating the consequences of a stroke with this drug, since if the effect is not stated in the instructions, the effect is likely to be minimal or about this .
