Comments of visitors of the site - consumers of this medication, as well as opinions of doctors of specialists on the use of Feniuls in their practice are presented. A big request is to actively add their feedback on the drug: the medicine helped or did not help get rid of the disease, which were observed complications and side effects, possibly not declared by the manufacturer in the annotation. Analogues of Fenyuls in the presence of existing structural analogs.Use for the treatment of iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia in adults, children, as well as during pregnancy and lactation. Composition of the preparation.
Fenules - an iron preparation with a complex of vitamins, for ingestion, contained in a capsule, which contains microdialysis granules and provides a gradual separation of the constituents.
The drug is used for chronic blood loss, alimentary iron deficiency, increased need for iron.
Iron is necessary for the normal functioning of hemoglobin, myoglobin, cytochrome, peroxidase and catalase. Being a structural component of heme, takes part in hemopoiesis.
The presence of Ascorbic acid and vitamin B in the microdialysis granules in combination with iron improves the absorption of iron, prevents the prooxidant effect of iron.
Thiamin is involved as a cofactor of enzymes in carbohydrate metabolism, the functioning of the nervous system.
Nicotinamide participates in cellular respiration.
Riboflavin is the most important catalyst in the processes of cellular respiration and visual perception.
Pyridoxine as a coenzyme is involved in the metabolism of amino acids, proteins, the synthesis of neurotransmitters.
Calcium pantothenate - an integral part of coenzyme A, is involved in the processes of acetylation and oxidation of fats and carbohydrates.
Vitamins restore the disturbed metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats in the development of dystrophic disorders in the body caused by latent iron deficiency and vitamin deficiency.
Composition
Iron sulfate + Ascorbic acid + Riboflavin + Thiamine mononitrate + Nicotinamide + Pyridoxine hydrochloride + Pantothenic acid + auxiliary substances.
Iron sulphate + Pyridoxine hydrochloride + Folic acid + Cyanocobalamin + Zinc sulfate monohydrate + auxiliary substances (Fenulles Zinc).
Iron (in the form of sulfate) + Ascorbic acid + auxiliary substances (Fenulis 100).
Pharmacokinetics
Iron is absorbed, mainly from the 12-finger and jejunum. Maximum absorption is observed with iron on an empty stomach. Absorption varies greatly and depends on iron stores in the body and physiological needs. In iron deficiency states, its absorption increases. The total amount of assimilated iron in the body increases with increasing dose. After absorption, the bulk of iron binds to transferrin and is transported to the bone marrow, where it is captured by bone marrow erythroid cells for hemoglobin synthesis; the rest is contained in the blood and is deposited in organs in the form of ferritin, hemosiderin or myoglobin. A small amount of iron is removed from the body after the cyclic destruction of the hemoglobin molecule.
Indications
Iron deficiency anemia (treatment and prevention), caused by various causes:
- increased need for iron during pregnancy and lactation, during the period of intensive growth and convalescence after prolonged serious illnesses;
- prolonged bleeding (including with peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum, hyperpolymenorrhea, metrorrhagia);
- inadequate and unbalanced nutrition.
Treatment and prevention of conditions caused by deficiency of iron, zinc and folic acid, incl. before, during and after pregnancy (during lactation) and in children.
Group B hypovitaminosis.
In the complex treatment of skin diseases (youthful acne, alopecia areata, atopic dermatitis).
Forms of release
Capsules.
Capsules of prolonged retard action (Fenyuls Zinc).
Retarded retard tablets coated with a coating (Fenyuls 100).
Drops and syrup for oral administration (Fenyuls Complex).
Instructions for use and dosage
With hidden iron deficiency - 1 capsule 1 time per day. The course of treatment is 1 month.
For the prevention of latent iron deficiency (with abundant and prolonged menstruation) - 1 capsule 1-2 days before, during and 1-2 days after the end of menstruation.
Capsules of prolonged action
Inside. Dosage and duration of therapy depends on the severity of iron deficiency. The daily dose of the drug can be taken 1 time per day. Take during or immediately after a meal; to wash down with water.
Treatment of clinically pronounced iron deficiency of mild and moderate degree (iron deficiency anemia): 2 capsules per day for 3-5 months before the normalization of hemoglobin level in the blood. After normalizing the hemoglobin level in the blood, the maintenance dose is prescribed at the doctor's recommendation.
Treatment of combined deficiency of iron, zinc and folic acid - 2 capsules per day. Pregnant women should take 1-2 capsules a day before the normalization of hemoglobin. Then the therapy should be continued at a dosage of 1 capsule per day, at least until the birth to restore iron stores.
For therapy and prevention of latent iron deficiency, zinc deficiency and folic acid, patients should take 1 capsule per day as part of a complex treatment of skin diseases (youthful acne, alopecia areata, atopic dermatitis).
Pills
Fenules 100 tablets should be taken orally, before eating, with a glass of water. The tablet can not be broken or chewed.
Adults and teenagers over 12 years of age
1 tablet 1-2 times a day, depending on the severity of iron deficiency anemia. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 3-4 tablets per day for two doses (morning and evening) for 3-4 months (before replenishing the iron depot in the body).
Iron deficiency anemia of moderate and severe severity in pregnant women
2 trimester of pregnancy: 1 tablet once a day.
3 trimester of pregnancy: 1 tablet 1-2 times a day.
Treatment is long. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of iron deficiency anemia, and it should be carried out before the normalization of serum ferritin, usually at least 3 months. After normalizing the hemoglobin level to restore internal iron reserves, therapy should be continued for several weeks.
Prevention of iron deficiency in pregnancy and lactation
1 tablet once a day.

Fenules tablets can be taken after meals if there are dyspeptic symptoms from the digestive tract (nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain).
The drug should be taken 1 hour before or 2 hours after taking the product or other medications that worsen the absorption of iron. Avoid concomitant administration with other iron-containing drugs (risk of overdose).
Fenules is prescribed only with iron deficiency anemia and can not be used for anemia of other etiology.
If you miss one dose of the drug, it should be taken at the first opportunity, however, if the time of taking the missed dose coincides with the time taken to receive the next dose, you should take only the next pill without doubling the dose of the drug.
Treatment of iron deficiency anemia should be carried out under the control of serum ferritin, the total iron binding capacity of the serum.
You should avoid the use of ethanol-containing beverages (alcohol).
