Teraflu - Combined drug, has antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, analgesic and antiallergic effect, eliminates the symptoms of "colds".
The effect of the drug is due to its constituent components.
Paracetamol has antipyretic effect, blocking COX mainly in the central nervous system, affecting the centers of pain and thermoregulation. Almost no anti-inflammatory effect. Paracetamol does not affect the synthesis of prostaglandins in peripheral tissues, thus not having a negative effect on water-salt metabolism (sodium and water retention) and gastrointestinal mucosa.
Phenyramin is a blocker of histamine H1 receptors. Has anti-allergic effect, reduces the phenomenon of exudation.
Phenylephrine - alpha-adrenomimetic, narrows vessels, eliminates puffiness and hyperemia of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx and paranasal sinuses, reduces exudative manifestations (runny nose).
Chlorphenamine - a blocker of H1-histamine receptors, suppresses the symptoms of allergic rhinitis: sneezing, runny nose, itching of the eyes, nose, throat.
Ascorbic acid increases the body's resistance to infection.
Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that, in inflammatory processes, reduces the pain in the throat when swallowing.

Paracetamol reduces the effectiveness of uricosuric drugs and improves the effectiveness of indirect anticoagulants.
Tricyclic antidepressants enhance the sympathomimetic effect, the simultaneous administration of halothane increases the risk of ventricular arrhythmia. FROM
