Gel

For treatment of acute respiratory disease and recurrent stenosing laryngotraheronritis in children, the gel is applied with a hard swab on the surface of the tonsils 5 times a day for 5-7 days, then 3 times a day for 3 weeks.

With chronic recurrent herpetic infection of different localization in women, treatment is started as early as possible from the onset of relapse, preferably during precursors.The gel is applied to the affected surface 3 to 7 times a day for 10 days. If necessary, the duration of the course is increased to 10 days. The number of repeat courses is not limited.

When applying the gel Viferon to the affected area after 30-40 minutes a thin film is formed, on which it is possible to continue applying the preparation. According to clinical indications, therapy with Viferon in the form of rectal suppositories can be continued with an interval between courses of 5 days.

When herpetic infection is prescribed Viferon 1 million IU per 1 suppository 2 times a day after 12 hours. The course of treatment is 10 days or more with a recurrent infection.
