If I knew that a medicine for allergies could itself trigger an allergy, I would never use Suprastin. But the fact remains, although it is old and cheap, but when the doctor prescribed it to me for hives and I took one pill, great blisters went in instead of it, which then burst and were very painful (like corns when the skin breaks).

Then the doctor said that this is a rare phenomenon in me - intolerance to a derivative medicine, so now I do not have all the antiallergic drugs.

Parliament was appointed and everything went well, including bubbles from Suprastin, but in the beginning it was scary.

People!!!!! Read carefully! I was lying in the hospital about urticaria and Quincke's edema - a reaction to antibiotics. I was pricked every day with suprastin. From him I became pale, but the doctor said it's all right, because the rash was passing. On day 4 in the treatment room, the nurse gave me an injection, instead of one ampoule of suprastin-two. To the question, why? Answered - the doctor has appointed to increase the dosage. After that, I went to sleep in the ward, and woke up already in intensive care. 15 minutes after a double prick, cardiac arrest. Miraculously they saw that I grunted grandmothers in the ward, the doctor on duty before the resuscitation arrived artificial respiration and saved me. This is an old generation drug and it acts very badly on the blood vessels and the heart, it too relaxes. So I was born a second time. Very afraid now of injections. And in fact to me this preparation has appointed skilled heads of the doctor of department of endocrinology. So ... Keep in mind.

Elena, anything happens when you use any medicine, but already for your negative reaction from the very beginning of the treatment, doctors should pay attention. This tip is also a reminder to everyone that you should not prescribe drugs to yourself. Here at least help arrived in time in the hospital, but at home you can not have time.Be careful and remember what drugs you do not go.

I can not say anything bad about this drug, as the daughters always prescribed suprastin for allergies and it helped in specific cases. There was certainly some drowsiness, but antiallergic drugs always almost cause it, it's normal. If you choose the right dosage and carefully handle the medicine, which means treating your health carefully, then there will be no global problems.
