Loceril - an antifungal agent for external use. It has a fungistatic and fungicidal effect, based on a change in the cell membrane of the fungus by disrupting the biosynthesis of sterols. Amorolfin (active substance of the drug Loceril) inhibits two different enzymes involved in the biosynthesis of ergosterol - delta14-reductase and delta7-delta8-isomerase.

Amorolfin has a broad spectrum of action, is active against fungi of the genus Candida, Pityrosporum, Cryptococcus, Trichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton, Alternaria, Hendersonula, Scopulariopsis, Cladosporium, Fonseceae, Wangiella, Coccidioides, Histoplasma, Sporothrix.

Bacteria, except Actinomyces, are not sensitive to amorolfine. Propionibacterium acnes shows only weak sensitivity.

Pharmacokinetics

When the solution is applied to the nails, Loceril penetrates into the nail plate and further into the nail bed. Amorolfin almost completely penetrates the nail plate within the first 24 hours. Effective concentration of amorolfin is retained in the affected nail plate within 7-10 days after the first application. Systemic absorption is negligible: the concentration of amorolfin in the plasma is below the sensitivity limit of the detection methods (less than 0.5 ng / ml).

Indications

  • treatment of nail lesions caused by various types of fungi (in the form of monotherapy in the event that no more than 2/3 of the nail plate is affected);
  • prevention of fungal nail lesions.

The solution is applied as follows: before the use of the drug, remove the affected areas of the nail (especially on its surface) with the attached nail file. Then the surface of the nail is cleaned and degreased with the attached tampon moistened with alcohol. Nail treatment with a saw blade and a swab with alcohol should be performed before each use of the drug. The solution is applied to the entire surface of the affected nail with a spatula, allow it to dry.The above procedure is repeated for each affected nail.

The spatula should be dipped in a solution, after that take out the spatula from the bottle, without touching its neck. The neck of the vial is wiped with the same swab that processed the nail, and tightly closes the bottle immediately after use. Allow the solution to dry for about 3 minutes. Lotseril I used to treat the fungus on the nails. This tool is made in the form of a varnish. I applied the medicine 2 times a week. Nails look neat. The drug should be used for a long time. During the treatment of nails can not be painted with a usual varnish. A jar of medicine is expensive, and if you calculate the cost of the entire treatment, the amount will be considerable.

But the result is worth it. Nails, after all, have become clean and healthy! I used Lotseril for a long time - almost a year! One-time nail file and napkin are included. You cut the infected nail with a fillet, then wipe it with an alcoholic napkin. Fungus does not develop, and the patient's fingernail is constantly cut down. After treatment, more fungus did not appear.

I tried lotseril 6 months, the effect was, at least the nail grew healthy, and the sick tip scraped. Then he accidentally withered me, inattentively twisted the lid and I threw it, something was too lazy to buy or there was no time, and the fungus was activated and went to infect the healthy places of the nail. Now I have to start anew, but now I will go to the end, I'll write later on how tangible progress will be.I only have fingernails on the big toes of both feet.

I applied this loceril for 3 months, and then dropped it, because he did not help me a bit. How was the fungus on the nails so he stayed and the new, retouched nails had the same black-brown curves of defeat. And the usual cheap pills fluconazole from the fungus were prescribed by a dermatologist in a free polyclinic. So the next time I think a hundred times before chasing after expensive treatment.

Good afternoon. Used in combination with tablets. Fungus on three toenails, used 1.8 years. Bought two times. If you divide by month, then it is inexpensive. 2 years have passed. On one again appeared. I'll use it again. For one nail one bottle is enough.

I used it once and the fungus passed. I had Microsporum spp, just this type of fungus treats loceril. I cut off my fingernail and smeared it with varnish.
