Tabex - n-holinomimetik. It stimulates the nicotinic receptors of vegetative ganglia, reflexively stimulates the respiratory center, causes adrenaline to be released by the chromafin cells of the medular part of the adrenal glands, and increases blood pressure.
Reduces nicotine dependence (due to a competitive relationship in the field of the same receptors and biochemical substrates with which nicotine interacts in the body). It causes a change in the taste of smoking (making it unpleasant), reduces the desire for smoking and facilitates the withdrawal symptoms associated with cessation of smoking.
The mechanism of action of cytisine is close to the mechanism of action of nicotine, which makes it possible to gradually quit smoking and at the same time prevents the development of abstinence phenomena.
