Review of the neurologist's doctor

I want to tell a case from practice. A 68-year-old woman experienced a great grief - at one point she lost her husband, only son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren (died in a car accident). The condition in which she was staying, could hardly be called depression. She could not sleep, she was afraid to go out into the street, did not want to talk to anyone, refused to eat ... Relatives turned to me for help. The treatment prescribed for her included psychotherapeutic sessions and drug therapy. One of the drugs received by the patient was Pikogam in a daily dose of 150 mg divided into 3 doses. In the second month of treatment, the patient's condition improved markedly: she began to sleep well at night, began to contact her loved ones, her appetite gradually recovered. By the end of the third month of treatment, the patient completely withdrew from the depressive state.
