Pharmacokinetics

 

After ingestion, no more than 1% is absorbed (0.45% is excreted in the urine within 24 hours), the rest with feces. When instillation in the eye is poorly absorbed into the systemic bloodstream (0.03%), trace amounts (less than 0.01%) penetrate into aqueous humor and are completely eliminated within 1 day. It is not metabolized and excreted in the body in equal quantities with urine and bile in 24 hours. It penetrates into breast milk in small amounts.

Instructions for use and how to use them

 

At the beginning of treatment, 1-2 drops are prescribed in each conjunctival sac 4 times a day at intervals of 4-6 hours. If necessary, the frequency of application of the drug can be increased to 6-8 times a day.

 

Treatment is continued until the symptoms disappear completely.

 

With seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, treatment should begin immediately after the onset of the first symptoms or be applied prophylactically before the beginning of the season of the appearance of pollen. Treatment continues throughout the flowering season or longer if symptoms persist.
