Neobutin - a means regulating peristalsis of the gastrointestinal tract.

Trimebutin (the active substance of the drug Neobutin), acting on the enkephalinergic system of the intestine, is the regulator of its peristalsis. Acting on peripheral receptors, incl. located directly in the smooth muscles throughout the gastrointestinal tract, it regulates the motor function without affecting the central nervous system. Thus, trimebutin restores normal physiological activity of the intestinal musculature for various gastrointestinal disorders associated with motor disorders.

Normalizing visceral sensitivity, Nesutin provides analgesic effect in abdominal pain syndrome.

Composition

Trimebutina maleate + excipients.

Pharmacokinetics

After ingestion, Neobutin is rapidly absorbed from the digestive tract. Bioavailability is 4-6%. The degree of binding to plasma proteins is low - about 5%. Trimebutin penetrates insignificantly through the placental barrier. Trimebutin is metabolized in the liver and excreted through the kidneys mainly in the form of metabolites (approximately 70% within the first 24 hours).

The doctor prescribed me another drug from the group of drugs that regulate the motor function of the digestive tract. In the drugstore, however, Nezavutin was advised. At cost, it turned out to be much more profitable. The effect became easier after the first tablet. I rate on the top five.

Very much excruciated bloating and colic, turned to the doctor and he recommended taking neobutin 200 mg 3 times a day for 10 days, then continue to take up to a month. It became easier already on the first day of reception, on sensations even the food to be digested began better. As I later learned, this is due to the fact that motor skills improve and the gastrointestinal tract starts to work better.
