special instructions

It is not recommended to use the product on the face for a long time, since Possible development of rosacea, perioral dermatitis and acne (acne or acne).

The drug should not be used in the eye area, due to the likelihood of the drug getting on the mucous membrane, which can contribute to the development of cataracts, glaucoma, fungal infections of the eye and exacerbation of herpetic infection.

Some areas of the body, such as axillary cavities, inguinal folds where there is natural occlusion, are more susceptible to the risk of streaking, so the use of the drug in these areas of the skin should be short-lived.

In cases of development of fungal microflora on the skin, an additional use of an antifungal agent is necessary.

Any side effects of systemic SCS, including oppression of adrenal cortex function, can also be noted when using local glucocorticosteroid agents, especially in children. Systemic absorption of local GCS may increase with prolonged use, treatment of extensive body surfaces or the use of occlusive dressings. In such cases, especially in children, appropriate precautions should be taken, including the possibility of drug cancellation determined by the doctor depending on the severity of the disease.

Systemic absorption of gentamicin in topical application may increase in case of application to large areas of the skin, especially with prolonged treatment or the presence of skin cracks. In such cases, the development of undesirable phenomena characteristic of gentamicin in its systemic application is possible, therefore careful use, especially in children, is recommended, which requires the doctor to determine the frequency of application and duration of therapy.

Cross-allergic reactions to antibiotics from the aminoglycoside group were observed. With prolonged local administration of gentamicin, insensitive microflora, including fungal growth, may occasionally be observed. In this case, as with the development of irritation, reactions of hypersensitivity and superinfection, treatment should be stopped and appropriate therapy prescribed.

The combination of betamethasone + gentamicin in the form of a cream or ointment is indicated only for external use and is not intended for use in ophthalmology.
