Composition of the preparation.

Kanespor - active against dermatophytes, yeasts, molds and other fungi (Malassezia furfur, Corynebacterium minutissimum). Bifonazole (active ingredient of Kanospor), unlike other derivatives of azole and fungicidal agents, inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol not on one but at two different levels. The inhibition of the synthesis of ergosterol leads to structural and functional disorders of the cytoplasmic membrane of the pathogen. Bifonazole is effective in the resistance of the pathogen to the action of other antimycotic drugs. Very rarely, primary resistance to bifonazole may appear in susceptible species of fungi. In studies to date, there has been no development of secondary resistance in primarily sensitive strains of microorganisms.
